GREG BROWN
Owner, Brown Development
Greg is a 30-year resident of Hawaii, living on Lana’i, Maui and now Hawaii Island. He has built approximately 100 homes/structures in the Hawaiian islands. Greg has had a genuine passion for the construction industry and real estate business and has been building homes on Maui since 2003.
He attended the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and for over twenty years prior to founding Brown Development, he started and ran several successful businesses on the islands of Maui, Kauai and Lana’i.
SCOTT TRENERY
Chief Operating Officer
Scott is a real estate enthusiast and entrepreneur with an degree in Mechanical Engineering from Berkeley and a background that includes the founding and management of two real estate and general contracting companies in the California Bay Area, as well as a multifamily development enterprise. Throughout his career, Scott has paired his passion for construction and finance with his detailed knowledge of architecture and engineering in order to develop properties, renovate homes, and partner with investors for large-scale opportunities.
As COO, Scott combines his real estate expertise with bold and innovative ideas for growth and development, embracing new technologies, recognizing housing trends and needs, and strategically executing and monitoring new builds and workforce dynamics.
Scott resides on Maui and enjoys the daily adventures of raising two young boys, while maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle that often finds him on cross-country motorcycle rides or running around the baseball field.
Mark Marolf
Project Manager
Mark has spent over forty years in the construction industry. Projects varied from both commercial and residential, including hotels, office buildings, apartments, schools, multi-family & single family homes, and tenant improvement projects. Mark has a degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida is a licensed General Contractor and licensed Community Association Manager.
Cindy Lester
Director of Development
Cindy has been a resident of Maui for over 35 years and brings 20 years of construction experience – which includes building her own home with the Self Help Hawaii program. Her extensive accounting background earned her the position of Comptroller and Director of Development for Brown Development. She is also a seasoned professional at pulling permits and dealing with the County.
Steve Bayes
Project Manager
Steve Bayes holds a Hawaii General Contractor’s license and brings with him over 30 years’ of experience in the construction industry. He has extensive experience in building and remodeling luxury homes on Maui, where he’s lived since 2003.
Dave Jackson
Grading and Site Work Manager
A California native, Dave has over 20 years’ experience working with big machinery. His background, knowledge and expertise have earned him the Grading and Site Work Manager position with Brown Development.
Tiare Parsons
Development Coordinator
Born and raised on Maui, Tiare came to Brown Development in 2013. With almost 10 years’ experience within the construction industry and a strong background in kitchen and cabinet design, she has earned an assistant management position on our development team.
Buz Moffett
Owner/Realtor, Moffett Properties
Buz has been a Realtor on West Maui since 1982 and has vast experience in working with home buyers and sellers. He is committed to helping make this workforce community come together for the west side. Moffett Properties will be the real estate brokerage for this community.
Van Fischer
Subdivision Development Consultant, Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Maui
Van brings 30 years of subdivision development, residential construction and real estate experience to this workforce community and will be assisting with development concepts and home sales.
